Matticus had an open contest for "underbloggers," lesser-known bloggers (like myself) to compete for a spot writing guest posts. I considered entering it with the idea that it would drive traffic here, but I decided that I wanted to get readers the old-fashioned way. Nothing against Matticus; he runs an awesome blog and I really enjoyed some of the guest posts.
My life in WoW has been somewhat topsy-turvy lately. I retired my druid, Wicker, again. And I left Silent, again. I just got so burned out on raiding. Day in, day out, with no return on my investment. I wish them the best.
Raganwald did his first full Karazhan clear. I was extremely happy with the two items I nabbed: Demon Stalker Gauntlets and Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix. I slapped a 28 crit rating scope on the bow, and I’m rocking my spec like there’s no tomorrow. I still have a ways to go, gear-wise. Eight hundred agility and hit cap aren’t too far now.
More importantly than that, I’ve found a really good group of folks to play with. I joined a random guild advertising in Trade, and they turned out to be really cool and fun. I’ve done Hyjal (just Rage), Gruul’s, Magtheridon, and Kara with them so far. Each of these raids take about an hour or so (except Kara, of course) so it’s just the right amount of time and fun before I get bored and frustrated. I can handle a few hours a week rather than a few hours per night.
I’m working on a really good post about bow-casters in various MMOs, so look for it soon.
